I tried to find a link to JAS Mart because I want people to know about it. It's a great little Japanese Market on 23rd btwn. Broadway and Park Ave.

Virgin Records (Joao Gilberto and Stan Getz CD) $10.73

Day 1 of the NY MTA strike. I had Doug's key to the basement where his bicycle was, so I had to meet him, we met at the Virgin Records in Union Square. He was going to ride his bicycle over the Brooklyn Bridge to get into the city. This is really fucking shit up, it's taking people hours to get into the city from other burroughs. The streets are bustling with bicycles, walkers, bumper to bumper traffic, and loads of lit up cab lights. In 1980 the strike lasted 11 days. we'll see how long this goes...

Doug's Birthday night of celebration $60.00
Brooklyn Industries $80.00 X-mas gifts for my neices and nephews
Coffee's and misc. stuffs, I'd add about an extra $10
Oh, and on Sunday night I bought popcorn and diet cokes at the movie
Breakfast on Pluto. $10.75
