Cafe 28 (hash brown, bacon egg & cheese) $5.30

When you're riding the train to work and your stomach is churning, head spinning and you can't tell if you're quite sober yet, and how bad the hangover will be, you go and get yourself some grease. Cafe 28, has the best hash browns, modeled after the McDonald's ones we all know and love.

Coffee Settepani Bakery .75
Cafe 28 (egg sandwich) $2.38
H&M (2 shirts, socks) $45.62
Credit Card Bill payment $40.00
Orange ING saving deposit $35.00
Agnes Laird (owed monies) $40.00
Cab ride contribution $2.00

The fucking urge to shop, sometimes it just don't stop. Thanks Jenna, the peer pressure she gives me to go to H&M, I tell ya. It's really a special time for her and I though, we do it every once in a while, and ride the guilt train together. In this case it was a tres necessary H&M run because I was in a terrible sock dilemma (no clean ones), but 2 shirts later, the $5.90 sock duo turned into a shirt duo, bringing that grand total to $45.62.
Paying off some bills, and tossing a little bit of dough into savings, time to freeze up again.

Madiba $10.00
Rachel (check for bed/money owed) $168.00

Kelly, Rachel and I all went to Madiba in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and shared a lovely spread of South African food.
The seperation of two friends (Rachel & Bill) leaves me with a new bed...I'm in the process of a payment plan with Rachel for my new bed which is her old bed, and a great one, might I add.

movie- Something New (with Noodles) $11.00
Urban Outfitters (little sweater) $10.83

See what did I tell ya, I knew it wouldn't take long for me to start spending again. I laugh though, I really thought at this point in my life, as a 27 year old woman I would be shopping at much more sophisticated boutiques and "schmancy" department stores. Just like when I was 17, ten years later you still find me hitting the ever-so popular sale rack at Urban Outfitters, and making bi-weekly visits to the neighborhood Goodwill. Part of this is because I'm not the 27 year old I imagined myself to be when I was 17 years old, and part of this is what I call my "creative process" of being an excellent bargain hunter (inherited from my mother) and the pure satisfaction I feel when I find an amazing designer shirt for 4 dollars... Then comes the paralell satisfaction of telling others it was only 4 dollars! Some things never change, and I like that.
